Intro The Unitil Scholarship Fund recognizes outstanding high school seniors pursuing studies in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). The application portal is currently open — submit your application online.
Overview Unitil will award five (5) scholarships of $5,000 each to graduating high school seniors who live within Unitil’s electric and natural gas service areas in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine. Awards are distributed across our service territory to reflect the communities we serve and to provide students throughout the region an opportunity to apply.
Eligibility
- Must be a graduating high school senior residing in Unitil’s electric and/or natural gas service territory in NH, MA, or ME.
- Intend to enroll in an undergraduate program in a STEM discipline for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Award use Scholarship funds are designated for the recipient’s first year of undergraduate study (2026–2027 academic year).
How to apply All applications must be completed and submitted through the online application portal.
Important dates
- Application deadline: March 31, 2026.
- Scholarship recipients will be notified by email no later than May 1, 2026.
