Granite Edvance Scholarship — Summer 2026

Summary
- Granite Edvance will distribute up to $30,000 in scholarship funds for the Summer 2026 term. Individual awards will be up to $1,000 or $1,500, depending on the recipient’s program type.
- Applicants may apply to more than one scholarship category, but each submission requires a separate application. Only one entry is permitted per category.

Who may apply (Eligibility)
To be considered applicants must:
- Be legal residents of New Hampshire.
- Plan to be enrolled at a 2-year college or trade school for the Summer 2026 term of the 2025–2026 academic year (referred to below as “College Student”) at an institution that participates in Title IV programs. Eligible institutions must appear on the U.S. Department of Education’s Federal School Code List for 2025–26 or 2026–27, depending on the school’s term schedule.
- Be able to verify New Hampshire residency to the satisfaction of Granite Edvance.
- Have a cumulative GPA (or equivalent) of at least 2.0 at the time they apply.
- Demonstrate financial need via the Student Aid Index (SAI) reported on the FAFSA. Only applicants with an SAI under $40,000 are eligible for award. Applicants must submit the FAFSA and provide their SAI to be considered.
- Provide a copy of their institution’s financial aid offer in order to receive an award.

Additional rules
- Applicants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian review and agree to these Terms and Conditions to accept the scholarship if selected.
- A recipient may receive only one Granite Edvance scholarship per Academic Year. Granite Edvance defines an Academic Year as beginning with the Fall term and including the immediately following Spring and Summer terms. Prior recipients from earlier Academic Years may reapply.
- Granite Edvance employees and their family members are not eligible.

Scholarship Categories (you may apply to multiple; separate application required for each)
1) Leadership & Community Service
- Describe actions you’ve taken to lead or serve and the positive changes you’ve helped create. Explain how these experiences shaped you and how you intend to continue community or leadership work during and after college.

2) First-Generation Student
- For students whose parents did not complete a bachelor’s degree. Discuss how being first-generation has influenced your goals, the obstacles you’ve overcome, and how you will use your college experience to create opportunities for yourself and others.

3) Academic Excellence
- Recognizes strong academic performance as well as intellectual curiosity and perseverance. Explain how your academic record prepares you for college and future goals. Note: GPA carries heavier weight in evaluating this category and you must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 to apply here.

4) Life Experience
- Focuses on how personal experiences have shaped your path to college. Share the defining events or challenges that influenced your growth, what you learned, and how those lessons prepare you for college.

Application window
- Registration opens: January 19, 2026.
- Registration closes: April 1, 2026 at 4:59 PM ET.
