About Charmayne Gooch
The scholarship honors the memory of Charmayne Gooch and reflects her lifelong passion for the arts. Ms. Gooch earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Colorado in 1950. Over her life she worked in several roles—teacher, school principal, and property manager—and she took great pleasure in painting, walking in parks, fishing, golfing, and spending time outdoors. Known for her generosity and kind spirit, she established this scholarship through her trust to help local students pursue artistic education that might otherwise be unattainable.
