Overview The Intertech Foundation’s STEM Scholarships support motivated students who are strengthening their skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. If you have strong Math and Science preparation, will graduate high school in spring 2026, and plan to begin collegiate studies in computer science in fall 2026, you are encouraged to apply. Award One non-renewable scholarship of $2,500 will be awarded to a qualifying high school senior who is college-bound for fall 2026. Eligibility Applicants must meet all of the following: - Cumulative high school GPA of 3.3 or higher. - Intention to pursue a college program in computer science. - Graduation from high school in spring 2026 and acceptance to or enrollment at an accredited U.S. college or university by August 31, 2026. Application — required materials Only complete submissions received through the online form below will be considered. Please upload the following: - Copy of official high school transcript. Because of timing and COVID-related school office hours, a copy of the transcript is acceptable. - Resume that documents paid employment, volunteer work, and extracurricular involvement. - Two letters of recommendation, one of which should come from a Math or Science teacher who knows you well. - Copy of college/university acceptance letter — optional to submit with your application but required before any funds are disbursed. - A 350–500 word essay addressing both: (1) how current computer software has affected your life, and (2) one concrete way you would improve that software. Award disbursement and academic requirements - The $2,500 scholarship will be split into two equal payments of $1,250. Each payment will be sent directly to the recipient’s college or university at the start of each semester. - The second payment is contingent on the recipient maintaining at least a 3.3 GPA during their first semester of college. - Before the second payment is released, the recipient’s school must provide: (1) documentation confirming the student’s first-semester GPA is 3.3 or higher, (2) proof the student is enrolled for the upcoming semester, and (3) a receipt or acknowledgment for each check received from the Intertech Foundation. Important notes - Children of Intertech employees are not eligible for this scholarship. - Applicants must be entering their first year of college or university during this award period. - A completed application submitted via the form below is required. - The winning student must provide proof of acceptance to an accredited U.S. college or university before grant funds are issued. At that time the student must also supply their student ID number and the college administrative contact (name, phone number, and full mailing address) where payment should be sent.
